Pending air accident final reports

Airline accidents we cover that are still waiting for a final investigation report, and those whose final report has now been published.

Updated 11 October 2026. Official investigation sources are checked every day. A flight moves to Received once its final report is out and our account has been updated with the findings.

How long do final reports take?

Under ICAO Annex 13, the investigating state should publish its final report within 12 months of an accident if possible. If it cannot, it should publish an interim statement on each anniversary of the accident. Many investigations take longer than a year, so the anniversary dates below show when the next official update is due, not when the final report will be published.
